RESEARCH ON THE SPATIAL BEHAVIOR OF RURAL LABOUR'S EMPLOYMENT——A Case Study of Three Village in Jiangsu, Shandong and Anhui Provinces

Abstract  The employment behavior particularity and the complexity of China rural labor force draw worldwide awareness. The features of countryside labor forces flowing and the reasons for flowing, the impacts of flowing and so on are the traditional focus of the current research. From the behavioral geography angle of view, this paper has proposed the research framework of employment space behavior of the rural labor force, taking the perception of the sensation behavior, the employment decision-making behavior and the employment behavior, the employment experience behavior as the major content. In the case study of the three villages in Jiangsu, Shandong and Anhui Provinces, with the questionnaire interview and the statistical analysis, this paper thought that in the present stage of China, the rural labor force employment has three space behavior types, namely the local agricultural employment, the local non-agricultural employment, the non-local flowing employment. Then the characteristics of each employment spatial behavior type have been analyzed:The rural labor force perception of the anticipated employment environment is not strong and the perception intensity is closely related with the living conditions and spatial distance; Economy is the primary factor affecting the rural labor force employment, but the influence is different in the spatial types; Our country's rural labor force generally take part-time jobs, the profession and the department they are engaged in are also changing; as for rural labor force employment degree of satisfaction, the local non-agriculture employment is highest.
